When a former professor gives you the chance to go to Las Vegas, say yes.
That pretty much sums up how I was able to experience one of the busiest but eye-opening weeks in my career. Adobe reached out to a handful of its partner universities to form a team of students to create content for the internal communications of the company's annual global sales conference.
Within the span of five days, I met six other students from all over the U.S.; the creative head of Adobe, Cass Taylor; company sales representatives from the likes of Japan, Ireland and everywhere in between; and, of course, the otherworldly scene of Las Vegas.
I'm proud to have produced 26 deliverables consisting of static and motion graphics that enthused thousands of professionals of an industry-leading company. However, I'm even prouder to have been able to forge deep relationships with students that I never would have been able to meet without this chance.
